Lovely atmosphere and fabulous food. My steak was a perfect &#39;medium rare&#39;. The staff were friendly and attentive and the chef made regular visits to front of house to check on his customers. Brilliant!

Mamma Mia Italian Restaurant

Walked past and was tempted by the outdoor tables as we had a dog with us. Nipped in to see about having some food. The staff were really lovely and owner Michele warm and welcoming. If sitting outside it seems you can only order coffee or pizza - no pasta or other restaurant food (the restaurant is upstairs and has a lovely quaint feel) but that wasn&#39;t a problem. We sat outside and had 2 fruit scones with jam and cream, excellent coffee and authentically rich and smooth Italian hot chocolate. The bill came to &pound;8something. Lovely wee spot which is great for all day dining - coffee and pastries available throughout the day and lunch and dinner at obvious times.

Dropped by here for bite to eat while out for a drive , we were both hungry and looking forward to an Italian dish of some sort to be told they only serve pizzas on a Sunday and that was it , through the week it is a normal Italian menu but we had ordered drinks before being told this so decided to stay and share a pizza and are glad we did ,even though their was half a dozen choice of pizza both myself and my other half agreed the pizza was delicious &#39; prepared and cooked by the owner himself , the accent gave him away ,didn&#39;t have to wait too long for it either but that was maybe because the place was quiet ,we then decided to finish of with some Italian ice cream ,absolute gorgeous the waiting staff were pleasant enough and would we go back to try his Italian dishes ...you bet ,can&#39;t wait

Service was good for us and staff friendly. Very popular so must be doing something right! The food was good but not exceptional and it was not that cheap. The menu is limited which is a good thing but the variety could be wider. Not helped by two items being off menu.
